The first 5 minutes run before the page opens; results settle after about 10 simulated minutes. Each run is one random sample, so rerun before reading much into a single approach near capacity.

Demand

Vehicles follow the vehicle ahead (Intelligent Driver Model) and slow down for bends. They enter the ring or merge from a bypass only when they can get through the conflict area before the next vehicle with priority arrives; entry capacity is within about 10 % of the HCM 2016 curve up to 600 veh/h circulating and somewhat cautious above that. Arrivals are random. Delay is the time lost against an empty junction, including waiting to get onto the approach; level of service uses the HCM roundabout thresholds (A ≤ 10 s, B ≤ 15, C ≤ 25, D ≤ 35, E ≤ 50, F > 50 s). Trucks (10 m) and buses (12 m) accelerate and corner more slowly and need longer gaps. People in an underpass are drawn faded and never meet traffic. Pedestrians have priority on zebras (drivers stop for anyone crossing or waiting if they still can; nobody steps in front of a car that cannot stop) and cross on their own green at signals, where turning drivers give way to them. Cyclists ride the cycle track with the traffic and have priority on cycle crossings, like pedestrians on zebras. Both cross a whole arm in one go. Use this to compare variants, not as a capacity study.
